NexTone's real time session management products, the platform used to build award-winning networks, is an enabling technology that makes the broad implementation of IP networks and specifically the usage of SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) for the provision of new services like VoIP available today.
The NexTone Multiprotocol Session Controller (MSC) enables VoIP carriers to use IP to interconnect with one another directly and rapidly instead of implementing a multitude of interfaces provided by back-to-back media gateways. The simplified approach offered by NexTone reduces turn-up time and costs.
The NexTone Multiprotocol Signaling Switch (MSW) is the centralized control of all routing in the VoIP network including aggregation of charging information from all parts of the network. The NexTone iView Management System (iVMS) offers carriers a powerful view of the network for the deployment and reporting of real-time results of the quality and costs associated with the VoIP services provided.
NexTone leads the market in providing innovative solutions for network security, signaling interworking and multivendor interoperability, and enables carriers and other service providers to directly interconnect their networks with other SIP and H.323 based networks via IP.
