10/26/2005 - I-Logix released Statemate 4.1, offering users improved product performance with enhanced usability and expanded workflow capabilities that address very large systems. Continuing the commitment to provide the premier systems engineering tool available, Statemate 4.1 enables streamlined functionality to engineers, enabling them to completely specify the most complex aerospace and automotive electronics system within the tool suite.
"I-Logix customers use Statemate to specify the largest, most complex electronics systems currently being developed in the aerospace and automotive markets today," said Neeraj Chandra, Senior Vice President Marketing and Corporate Development, "and to ensure that Statemate continues to help systems engineers reduce development times and boost overall quality, we have extended the technology to handle models that are twice as big while adding workflow enhancements that streamlines project development."
Adding to the new capabilities that allow users to work with models two times bigger than in previous releases, Statemate 4.1 provides numerous workflow improvements for model creation, design analysis and engineering environment integration reducing time-to-market by speeding the systems specification process. The new streamlined menus, additional selection and enhanced navigation capabilities enable systems engineers to create models faster then before. Enhancing the checks performed during static analysis to provide more focus, thereby offering more detailed information during simulation, makes it easier to ensure the model is both complete and correct. Statemate is often used in conjunction with other engineering tools, and to ensure that the user's development environment is seamless, the 4.1 release has an enriched DOORS interface and an extended API used to integrate Statemate into the end users tool environment. These design, analysis and integration enhancements enable user to create complete and correct specifications for even the most complex systems faster and with better quality then ever before.
Currently used to develop next generation avionics for sophisticated fighter aircraft and specifications for automotive, rail and defense electronics systems at major manufacturers around the world, Statemate 4.1 is the systems engineer's tool suite of choice for complex projects.
