Embedded Development Seminar Targets Engineers with Pulse

1/5/2005 - 'On The Pulse' is the title of the next Embedded Masterclass, a Cambridge high-tech event focused on embedded development for the medical sector. The seminar will take place on March 17, 2005 in Cambridge.

This unique event is sponsored by leaders in the embedded electronics field, such as Enea Embedded Technology, Enea TekSci, SDC Systems, iSystem, Artisan Software, Feabhas, LDRA, IPL, Polyhedra and Lauterbach.

Organiser Richard Blackburn of Energi Technical stated that, "There is no doubt that the medical sector is becoming an increasingly important market for hi tech developers and this seminar will be a chance for some of these developers to share their knowledge and experience. In particular, Enea has had recent success helping to develop products for the US medical industry. They will be flying in Tony Baghai, a recognised world expert on safety critical development and approvals, so this is an exciting opportunity for engineers to listen to Tony's presentation and to meet with him."

Other presentations will include a discussion on how software testing techniques used in avionics is now being applied to medical systems and how system interoperability is an increasing concern and will explore the impact of HL7 and NPfIT for medical device manufacturers.

This event is free for engineers working in the embedded sector. Although the focus is on medical issues, this seminar will be of interest to all who wish to keep up to date with embedded technology. For the full agenda and registration visit : www.embedded-masterclass.co.uk
