9/24/2004 - Celoxica Ltd., the leading supplier of C-based design and synthesis solutions, will present a technical system-design workshop at the Global Signal Processing Expo and Conference (GSPx), the industry’s premier embedded signal processing event in Santa Clara on Monday, September 27, 2004 at 9AM-12PM. Exploring both SystemC and ANSI-C approaches, the workshop will feature C-based design and synthesis for the development of complex electronic systems.
Framed within the context of electronic system level (ESL) design, the workshop will discuss the state-of-the-art in C-based design and synthesis and outline the benefits that developers realize during the design process. Using the industry’s only third generation C-based design and synthesis technology the workshop will take developers step-by-step through an industrial design example that applies aerospace and defense-grade signal processing and sensor fusion technology to the automotive domain. The wider application of this design technology and methodology to consumer, homeland security, DSP and digital-imaging markets will also be discussed.
The technical workshop is designed for system architects, hardware engineers, software engineers, algorithm developers and hands-on system-design managers. Workshop content will focus in on fundamental elements of ESL design that include, architecture and algorithm exploration, system partitioning and re-partitioning, fast C-level simulation, algorithm acceleration, hardware/software integration, board level integration and design reuse, C synthesis direct to optimized physical implementation.
The workshop will use Celoxica’s DK Design Suite of system design tools, a COTS FPGA rapid-prototyping solution and sensor systems from Analog Devices and BAE Systems.
