BSQUARE Debuts Packaged Services for Windows Embedded and Mobile Devices
9/13/2004 - BSQUARE (Nasdaq: BSQR) , a leading provider of smart device solutions, announced new packaged services offerings for device makers to gain quick and easy access to BSQUARE’s expertise on Windows Embedded and Windows Mobile devices.
“In response to requests from our customers, we are making available four new packaged services,” said Carey Butler, vice president of Professional Engineering Services, BSQUARE. “Our goal is to help device makers build, test, and deploy their smart devices as quickly as possible and our new fixed-fee packaged services offer a solid starting point for customers requiring our expertise.”
BSQUARE’s new packaged services include:
- Feasibility Study – BSQUARE engineers will provide research, analysis, and findings, including recommendations for success on any development or issue related to Windows Embedded and Windows Mobile platforms
- Short-Term Service Packages – Provides immediate access to BSQUARE engineering services for short-term service engagements
- Quality Assurance Service Packages – Provides comprehensive, independent testing of devices for early identification of system software defects, which helps to lower development costs and speed time to market for devices
- SDIO JumpStart Service – The fastest way to add SDIO support to Windows Embedded and Windows Mobile devices
These new consulting and engineering service packages are in addition to BSQUARE’s previously announced packaged services available for Windows Embedded and Windows Mobile device makers. The other packaged services include:
- Windows XP Embedded JumpStart – Delivers a bootable Windows XP Embedded operating system image, including applications and device drivers, customized for the customer’s hardware platform
- Product Support Service Packages – Offers rapid response, expert diagnosis, and trusted resolution to help optimize the productivity and cost-effectiveness of embedded development projects
