8/23/2004 - Data I/O® Corporation (Nasdaq:DAIO), the leading provider of manual and automated programming systems, announced that it is entering into an alliance with M-Systems to increase programming systems support for their mutual customers. The alliance furthers the exchange of technical information and ensures joint sales activity in several major geographies. Data I/O and M-Systems have field offices in all of the major geographies and share close proximity with key customers.
“This important alliance strengthens our existing two-year relationship,” noted Kelly Hirsch, Chief Technologist at Data I/O, “and is in keeping with our joint strategy to provide users with support for emerging technologies. M-Systems' NAND-based DiskOnChip offerings are a good fit with our major customers’ applications; and this alliance will more tightly couple our development, marketing and sales teams.”

Concurrent with the announcement of this alliance is Data I/O’s release of support for the G3 devices, including larger programming system memory, true parallel programming, and support for cascading devices.
