Altera's Chief Architect Joins Panel at Embedded Systems Seminar

8/3/2004 - Tim Allen, senior director of Altera Corporation’s (NASDAQ: ALTR) Santa Cruz Technology Center and the chief architect of the Nios® and Nios II soft-core embedded processors, will be participating in Tuesday’s panel discussion on Soft-Core Processors and Configurable Chips at the Embedded Systems Seminar: Silicon Valley. Moderated by Jim Turley, editor-in-chief of Embedded Systems Programming, the panel will discuss the new generation of programmable microprocessors. Allen will explain the benefits of developing embedded systems using customizable soft-core processors and FPGAs.
