7/23/2004 - Magma Design Automation Inc. (Nasdaq: LAVA), a provider of chip design solutions, announced the first Magma Users Summit on Integrated Circuits (MUSIC of 2004, at the Hotel Leela Palace in Bangalore, India on August 3-4. MUSIC-India will feature 11 Magma user presentations, three advanced technology tutorials and an interactive session with Magma’s R&D. The keynote address entitled “The Cost of Quality: A Silicon Design Perspective” will be given by Bobby Mitra, PhD., managing director of Texas Instruments.

In addition to user presentations, Premal Buch, general manager of Magma’s Analysis and Signoff business unit, and Kam Kittrell, general manager of Magma’s Logic Design business unit, will offer technical updates and tutorials on low-power design methodology, third-party tool correlation and RTL synthesis and prototyping.
