Altera Web Seminar Reveals How Programmable Logic Saves Time and Money

7/21/2004 - Altera Corporation (NASDAQ: ALTR) is hosting a net seminar focusing on how hardware chip designers, as well as embedded system designers and developers, can benefit from using low-cost FPGAs as an ASIC design alternative. As low-cost FPGAs continue to address a larger part of the ASIC market, it is important that designers make informed decisions throughout the system design process. Design teams will learn how programmable logic minimizes risk while cutting down on lengthy design cycles. They will also learn how taking advantage of all the benefits offered by low-cost CycloneTM II FPGAs reduces overall cost through system integration.

The first 100 participants who attend the net seminar and complete the post-presentation survey will receive a Cyclone II t-shirt.

All participants who attend the net seminar live and complete the post-presentation survey will be entered into the drawing for a chance to win a Canon PowerShot A70 3.2 MP Digital Camera ($300 USD value).
