7/14/2004 - TEK Microsystems, Inc. announced that Gary B. Videlock has joined the Company as director of engineering. Mr. Videlock, who will report to president/CTO Andrew Reddig, will focus on developing new products that leverage Tekmicro's systems-level architecture and will be key in building the Company's engineering team to keep pace with overall company growth.
"Gary has a strong track record developing engineering organizations, processes, and managing resources to create world-class products," said Mr. Reddig. "His focus on systems-level architectures will contribute to our product definition and his strength in integrated development of hardware, FPGA IP, and software is an excellent fit for the advanced development we are doing at Tekmicro."
Mr. Videlock has held senior engineering management positions at both start-up and large multinational companies. Most recently, he was in engineering leadership roles at Bering Technologies of Lexington, MA, Alcatel/Astral Point of Chelmsford, MA, and Bay Networks of Billerica, MA.
Mr. Videlock holds five patents and has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute of Troy, NY.
