7/13/2004 - Brooktrout Technology, Bludis and VoiceGenie announced a partnership to provide an integrated VoiceXML solution for developers of speech-enabled applications in Italy. The partnership will allow Bludis to offer developers a platform that combines Brooktrout’s TR1000TM speech platform and NeXusPoint, VoiceGenie’s VoiceXML-based platform, to build speech-enabled applications such as voice self-help systems, advanced message delivery services, virtual assistants, and automated business finder and operator services. Based on an open-standards architecture, the integrated platform is mature, reliable, and flexible.
Through distribution arrangements with Brooktrout and VoiceGenie, Bludis, a European Value Added Distributor of information technology, will be able to provide a 100% VoiceXML compliant platform to their customers. Developers can take advantage of this best of breed, integrated platform to create speech-driven applications that allow instant access to information from any landline, wireless or mobile phone, or other handheld device.
