7/8/2004 - Atmel® Corporation (Nasdaq: ATML) and Adeset SAS announced the release of Adesetís Windows® CE BSP for Atmelís ARM920TTM-based microcontroller, the AT91RM9200. Integrating drivers for all standard interfaces, this BSP enables application developers to port their Windows CE-based software onto systems based on the AT91RM9200 with minimal development effort and risk. Additionally, Adeset can adapt or enhance the BSP to the specific requirements of the client. As a Windows CE-certified training partner, Adeset also provides training courses based on Microsoft® official courses.
ďThis new BSP is a great opportunity for customers willing to combine the ergonomics and robustness of Windows CE with the power and high level of integration of Atmel AT91RM9200 chip with the best time to market,Ē said Yannick Chammingís, Adesetís Windows Embedded group manager, and Microsoft MVP for Windows embedded products.
Jacko Wilbrink, Atmel's ARM microcontroller Product Marketing Manager commented: "Adesetís professional skills in communication and expertise in Windows CE together with our AT91RM9200 controller give us confidence that our customers will be able to develop best-in-class products in a minimum timeframe, anywhere in the world."
The AT91RM9200 Windows CE BSP, distributed in partnership with Atmel, is available on Atmel's AT91RM9200 development board, the AT91RM9200-DK. A demo version in binary form of this Windows CE BSP is freely available for AT91RM9200 customers. Its source code can be purchased from ADESET at a per customer license fee of only 5000 Ä (or $6000), for an unlimited number of projects.
