6/17/2004 - Altera Corporation (NASDAQ: ALTR) is hosting a net seminar focusing on how embedded system developers and FPGA hardware designers can use Altera’s new Nios® II embedded processor family to optimize performance and lower costs. Design teams will learn how to create a versatile processor that allows designers to quickly adapt to changing standards or design requirements while avoiding processor obsolescence. In addition, they will learn how to remotely deploy feature updates and product enhancements as well as accelerate time-critical software algorithms with user-defined instructions.
The first 100 participants who attend the net seminar and complete the post-presentation survey will receive an Altera T-shirt.
All participants who attend the live net seminar and complete the post-presentation survey will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a portable Panasonic DVD player ($300 USD value).
