6/16/2004 - Mercury Computer Systems, Inc. [NASDAQ: MRCY] announced it has received an $8.3 million order from Northrop Grumman Corporation [NYSE: NOC] for the recently announced Phase II U.S. Air Force Multi-Platform Radar Technology Insertion Program (MP-RTIP). "In PowerStream 7000 systems, Mercury will deliver next-generation multiple TeraFLOPS of computing power in a small, highly rugged package. We look forward to our continued relationship with Northrop Grumman and the opportunity to contribute to the success of the MP-RTIP program."
