Okaya Markets Tilcon's Interface Development Suite in Japan

6/14/2004 - Tilcon Software is pleased to welcome Okaya Electronics Corporation (OEC) to its Global Sales Channel. OEC is Wind River’s largest sales partner in Japan, and is a natural fit to market Tilcon’s Interface Development Suite (IDS) to both existing and new VxWorks users in the Japanese market.

“We’re very excited to have OEC join our sales organization”, said Stuart Pegg, Director of Asia Pacific Sales at Tilcon Software. “OEC is clearly focused on the embedded market, and has the necessary relationships with key customers and major players across a variety of market segments.”

OEC management was quick to identify the Tilcon IDS as a highly complementary addition to their product line. “Japanese users expect highly functional, graphic-rich displays”, said Yoshihiro Inukai, Managing Director at OEC. “The Tilcon IDS delivers that and much more to Japanese device manufacturers. Tilcon’s unique technology gives our customers a true business advantage: the ability to quickly create and customize a sophisticated display to suit the individual needs of their own customers.”
