Industrial Ethernet Users Increasingly Seek XML for Applications

6/14/2004 - A recent report by Venture Development Corporation indicates that industrial Ethernet users are increasingly looking to use the XML (Extensible Markup Language) protocol in both wireline and wireless applications.

It's important for suppliers to accurately predict which protocols their products should support. Backward compatibility and easy integration are the keys to any successful network and supporting the most popular protocols will help ensure customer satisfaction.
