Brooktrout, Ubiquity, IBM Demonstrate IP Conferencing at Supercomm

6/10/2004 - At this month’s Supercomm, Brooktrout Technology will demonstrate conferencing application, which utilizes the capabilities of its SnowShore Media Server, with its partner Ubiquity on the new IBM eServer BladeCenter-T. Brooktrout’s SnowShore Media Server an open standards-based media server that enables solution providers to easily develop next-generation telephony and enhanced voice services, such as IP voicemail and multiparty conferencing, through a highly flexible, cost-effective, IP media server solution.

In addition, Brooktrout’s Vice President, Chief Technology Officer of Next-Gen Communications, Eric Burger, will present at the International Engineering Consortium (IEC) Communications Forums at Supercomm. On June 23 at 2:15 p.m., Mr. Burger will participate on a panel entitled “Packet Voice Services – Realities and Opportunities.” The session will explore where the industry stands today in terms of implementing packet voice services, and will identify the major opportunities that forward-looking carriers are beginning to exploit.

Also on display in Brooktrout’s booth will be its NS301TM, an open systems board-level product for carrier grade network interface and packet processing, its NS700TM SS7 product line that provides a robust SS7 signaling feature set; its TR1000TM, voice processing platform; its TR2020TM platform for VoIP gateways and enhanced services and its TR1034TM IP-enabled intelligent fax board.

In addition to the demonstration in the Brooktrout booth, Brooktrout’s SnowShore Media Server will also be on display in the Sonus Networks booth 25204, and in IBM’s booth 26929.
