Performance Technologies Enables Vertical Networks' InstantOffice

6/8/2004 - Performance Technologies (Nasdaq NM: PTIX) announced Vertical Networks has selected the company's IPnexusTM MTN4100 Media and Packet Processing Subsystem and UniPorteTM Media and Packet Processing Software to enable voice and fax capabilities in its InstantOfficeTM integrated communications platform for retailers and businesses.

Vertical Networks' communications solutions provide information and tools to retail, pharmaceutical and financial businesses to improve and better manage customer interactions in their stores and branch offices The InstantOffice solution allows companies to offer an information-rich customer service environment, which inevitably increases revenues by improving service and reducing costs through equipment and operational efficiencies.
