6/8/2004 - Ceragon Networks Ltd. (NASDAQ: CRNT), www.ceragon.com, a global provider of high-capacity broadband wireless systems, announced receipt of a $3.5 million order from a leading cellular operator in India. Delivery of Ceragon’s FibeAirTM products under this order is expected by Q2 2004. To date, Ceragon has received orders exceeding $7M from this esteemed customer.
As part of the operator’s large-scale infrastructure expansion plans, hundreds of Ceragon’s FibeAir systems are being deployed as an STM-1 backbone, providing high capacity connectivity between cellular base stations and the core network. Ceragon’s SDH networking solutions enable the operator to promptly meet the overwhelming demand to rapidly expand its network and increase capacity in order to allow high-end services. Ceragon’s management software solutions, CeraView® and PolyViewTM, centrally monitor and manage the entire network.
