He has also developed sentence parsing and speaker adaptation algorithms in earlier Carnegie Mellon speech systems.
Mark Scott, VoiceGenie’s Vice President of R&D and CTO, will explain how VoiceXML leverages web standards, architectures and developer expertise, and how it simplifies the rapid delivery of speech-enabled applications. He will also demonstrate how leading edge automated speech recognition (ASR) and text-to-speech (TTS) technology can deliver dynamic, natural speech applications. VoiceGenie Technologies Inc. (www.voicegenie.com) is the world’s leading provider of VoiceXML platforms and open communications solutions for next-generation customer care.
Intervoice’s Chris McNabb, Senior Engineer, Application Engineering Group and Terry Sullivan, OEM Account Manager, will present “Speech Enabling the Call Center with the Microsoft Speech Server,” discussing how the new Microsoft SALT platform can be used to create and deploy sophisticated solutions for speech-enabled call centers.
