Magma Targets IBM-Chartered Process Platform with 90nm Design Kit

5/25/2004 - Magma® Design Automation Inc. (Nasdaq: LAVA), a provider of chip design solutions, announced the availability of a preliminary 90-nanometer (nm) RTL-to-GDSII design enablement kit in support of the recently announced IBM-Chartered cross-foundry design enablement program. Included in the kit are a state-of-the-art standard cell library, Magma technology and setup files, and a reference design flow for enabling high-performance, power-optimized designs. The unique and simple kit, used in conjunction with Magma’s Blast CreateTM , Blast PlanTM and Blast Fusion® products, is designed to make adopting the jointly developed IBM-Chartered 90-nm semiconductor process platform fast and easy.
