Multi-Tech Receives 70-IT GSA Schedule Contract

5/20/2004 - Multi-Tech is pleased to announce the award of a 70-IT Schedule Contract. Contract Number #GS-35F-0367P is effective March 17, 2004 and has a term of five-year with three five-year options.

According to Chip Harleman, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Multi-Tech Systems, Inc., “This GSA schedule contract allows us to focus our government business into a dedicated channel that can more efficiently deliver our leading-edge products for government communications networks. Products like our award-winning Voice over IP gateways, state-of-the-art VPNs and firewalls, globally-approved cellular data modems, plus world-class analog modems and RAS systems. These products, combined with our long tradition of unmatched service, means government customers can take better advantage of support capabilities like our overnight replacement contracts. Our direct GSA relationship will also provide more teaming opportunities with other GSA contract companies.

"We have had over 30 years of experience in providing communications products to businesses, along with supplying those same products to government agencies through our commercial channels of distribution. We look forward to a new level of interaction with government users, and believe that this GSA Schedule Contract, providing high quality communications products made in America, will result in a more productive arrangement for both sides."
