About Multi-Tech Products
The MultiVOIP voice over IP gateways provide toll-free voice and fax communications over the Internet or intranet with analog and digital models ranging from one to 60 ports. For AvayaTM Communication Manager environments, MultiVOIP provides distributed networking capabilities to small branch offices extending Avaya media server call features and local office survivability.
The RouteFinder VPN Internet security appliance is an integrated firewall/VPN gateway designed to maximize network security without compromising network performance. It uses Stateful Packet Inspection, for the ultimate in firewall security. In addition, it provides optional e-mail anti-virus protection, free one-year content filtering, as well as spam filtering. The RouteFinder VPN’s functionality is based on IPSec and PPTP protocols and uses 3DES and AES encryption to ensure that information remains private. The browser-based interface eases configuration and management.
The MultiAccess, CommPlete, and RASFinder families of communication servers provide scalable T1/PRI connectivity along with BRI ISDN/56K dial-in/dial-out access. The MultiModemISI server cards provide high-speed, reliable modems for a seamless, clutter-free installation in user provided server platforms. MultiModem global modems are for worldwide installation with approvals in many countries. Single SKUs are ideally suited for OEM customers, multinational organizations and systems integrators. An included CD with the Global System utility automatically configures the modem for the specific country in which it will be used. If a Windows computer is not available, industry-standard AT commands may be used.
Multi-Tech’s cellular wireless modems utilize GSM/GPRS and CDMA technologies to communicate data and voice over worldwide cellular communications networks. The embedded models are ideal for developers looking to add wireless communication capabilities with a minimum of time and expense. The external models are ideal for applications needing a complete wireless modem equipped with an RS232 or USB interface.
Multi-Tech’s family of embedded solutions creates communication-ready devices by integrating data/fax or Internet functionality into a single universal socket design. Now you have the ability to provide remote monitoring, diagnostics, data collection, or virtually any communication capability, to your existing or new device via interchangeable dial-up, wireless or Ethernet communication modules.
The FaxFinder stand-alone DID fax server includes two V.34 fax modems for receiving DID faxes and sending/receiving faxes over a standard PSTN phone line. It receives faxes from a DID Trunk, converts it to a .TIF file, and sends it via email to a network address identified by a DID number. Bundled driver client software for Windows send faxes via the second fax modem anywhere in the world. The second fax modem can also receive faxes to a network supervisor address.
