5/11/2004 - American Arium, an industry leader in hardware-assisted software development tools, strengthened its distribution channel support in Southeast Asia with the formal addition of Flash Technology Pte. Ltd., the well known embedded tools provider, to its list of distributors in the region. Flash Technology's technical expertise, understanding of China's fast growing embedded development markets, and past affiliation with Arium in Singapore made it the overall best choice for Arium's planned entrance into the Chinese embedded marketplace.
"Flash Technology was looking to move into China about the same time we were," said Larry Traylor, Arium's CEO, after a recent visit to Flash Technology in its newly established Shanghai office. "We felt their strategy for entrance into this country with its new and thriving markets went hand-in-hand with our own. We know from past experience that they are well positioned to break into the embedded space there."
