ZapThink ZapForum Features Technical Director from IONA

4/26/2004 - IONA® Technologies (NASDAQ: IONA), a world leader in high performance integration solutions for mission-critical IT environments, announced that Peter Cousins, ArtixTM technical director, IONA Technologies, will be a featured panelist at the April 29, 2004 ZapForum: Realizing ROI with SOA, at the Newton Marriott, Newton, Massachusetts.

"The industry is rapidly moving in a direction where SOA is seen as a viable option for achieving real business value, but many companies do not know how to take the first steps," said Mr. Cousins. As the Technical Director for the Artix product line, Mr. Cousins is responsible for the vision and direction of IONA's Artix. He oversees Artix product development, and works directly with early Artix adopters to ensure that IONA maintains its SOA and Web services integration leadership position.
