Cypress Discusses Storage Processing Requirements and Quality of Service

3/31/2004 - Cypress Semiconductor Corp (NYSE: CY) announced that two of the company’s technical experts will present papers at the 2004 Communications Design Conference/ElectronicaUSA on March 29 through April 1, 2004 at the Moscone Center, San Francisco.

During the conference session on high-speed serial interconnect, Sridhar Gollapudi, Cypress data communications product applications manager, will discuss packet-processing requirements for networked storage. This special focus panel will examine high-speed serial design from the point of view of SAN access, next generation backplanes and specialized "standard" interfaces. The session (CDC-P714) will be held Wednesday, March 31 at 8:30 a.m. in room 224 and will be moderated by Jag Bolaria, senior analyst at the Linley Group.

At the Quality of Service (QoS) session, Jason Baumbach, staff applications engineer for Cypress’s Data Communications division, will discuss generic framing procedure. The session (CDC-P814) will be held Thursday, April 1 at 8:30 a.m. in room 224 and will be moderated by Loring Wirbel, Editorial Director, Communications Initiative, CMP Media LLC.
