Secom Telecom Honors Agilent Technologies with Best Partner Award

3/26/2004 - Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) announced it has received a Best Partner award from China's Secom Telecom Company in recognition of Agilent's contributions during Secom's 10-year history. Secom is a leading distributor of semiconductor products in Greater China.

"Agilent's partnership was vital in establishing Secom in our early years and in our recent success in the Greater China market," said Calvin Xiao Quing, Secom's president. "With the China market's accelerating growth rate, we expect a profitable relationship for years to come."

Agilent recently emphasized the importance of growing its market position and presence in China by announcing the opening of the Agilent Semiconductor Solutions Center and a wholly owned subsidiary, Agilent Technologies Trading Co. Ltd., both in Shanghai.
