3/26/2004 - QNX Software Systems announced that it has been selected as an Embedded Systems Conference Best of Show finalist for Liteshow®, an innovative wireless projection system based on the QNX® Neutrino® RTOS.
Manufactured by InFocus Corporation, LiteShow is quickly changing how people view and share information in meetings, seminars, and other collaborative settings. With LiteShow, users can project almost any kind of data - wirelessly and securely - from up to 300 feet away. No need for cables or network configuration.
Despite its unsurpassed ease of use, LiteShow is extremely sophisticated, with an advanced 128-bit cryptosystem and a rich set of high-performance drivers (802.11b, video, etc.). To achieve the performance and reliability its customers expect, InFocus took advantage of the unique, fault-tolerant architecture of the QNX Neutrino RTOS. In fact, many of the LiteShow drivers were custom developed by the QNX professional services team, who worked closely with InFocus to select hardware for the product.
