3/25/2004 - Extended Systems (Nasdaq: XTND), a leading provider of mobile application solutions for the enterprise, announced at the CeBIT conference that ThyssenKrupp Elevator, the world's third-largest elevator provider, has licensed the company's OneBridge Mobile Solutions platform. Under the agreement, ThyssenKrupp will work with Extended Systems to create and deploy mobile enterprise applications.
"Using Extended Systems' OneBridge Mobile Solutions platform to mobilize our business applications will eliminate paperwork, streamline business processes and reduce billing cycles." said Dr. Clemens Kolbe, ThyssenKrupp Elevator.
Approximately 2,500 companies have currently deployed mobile solutions based on Extended Systems' OneBridge technology. "Deploying mobile solutions to field technicians can have a dramatic impact," said Nigel Doust, vice president of EMEA at Extended Systems. "From increased productivity to lowered billing cycles, mobilizing field applications can help companies improve cash flow."
