Trolltech Simplifies Software Development with New Tools and Components

3/10/2004 - Trolltech®, the leader in multiplatform development frameworks, announced the second release for Qt Solutions.

Qt Solutions provide industry and platform specific tools and components that are designed to plug directly into Qt based development projects. Qt Solutions increases the range of Qt, while simplifying Qt development even further.

New Qt Solutions tools and components include:

The color widgets are particularly useful for developers of graphics, imaging, and visualization applications.

This release also includes numerous enhancements to existing Qt Solutions components, such as the QtSoap, QtPieMenu and QtUndo/Redo components.

Currently, all the Qt Solutions mentioned are freely available to Qt Enterprise licensees. Some components are available under dual open source and commercial licenses.
