3/10/2004 - Intermec Technologies Corp. will lead an RFID session entitled “Understanding What Is Needed to Implement RFID Today” at Logicon 2004, the premier logistics and supply chain management conference, March 8-10, 2004, in Las Vegas. Intermec also will demonstrate its total consumer goods supply chain solution at the conference and experts will be on hand at booth #15 to answer attendee questions.
The Intermec seminar, scheduled for March 8 from 10:40-11:20a.m., will be led by Scott Medford, Intermec vice president of global business development. Medford will focus on RFID and EPC implementation factors, implications and application rollout requirements in manufacturing, warehouse, distribution and store receiving operations. Specific retailer and consumer packaged goods challenges to be addressed include key components for implementation for January 2005 and beyond, examples of pallet and case level installations and benefits of RFID implementation.
