3/8/2004 - Accelent Systems, a leading enabler of embedded devices, announced its participation in the Microsoft Mobility Partner Advisory Council (MPAC). Microsoft formed the council in an effort to bring the most innovative and successful solutions to market with like-minded companies investing heavily in mobility.
Accelent Systems brings Windows Mobile-based software development solutions to the Microsoft Mobility Partner Advisory Council. SchemaTM BIOS Configurator is Accelent Systems software solution. Schema BIOS Configurator is a system-level software development tool that enables OEMs to develop PDAs, PDA-phones and other Windows Mobile-based devices in less time and with fewer resources. Schema BIOS Configurator is a front-end to Microsoft Platform Builder enabling developers to create system-level images necessary for Windows Mobile-based devices. Accelent Systems hardware solution is the Intel® XScale Windows Mobile-based Integrated Development Platform (IDP). Supporting Windows Mobile 2003 software for Pocket PCs, the IDP is a stable and tested platform ideal for development efforts.
