LynuxWorks CEO and Chairman to Deliver Keynote Address at LinuxAsia

2/11/2004 - LynuxWorksTM CEO and chairman, Dr. Inder Singh, will deliver a keynote address at LinuxAsia 2004 on February 11 in New Delhi, India at the India Habitat Centre.

Dr. Singh, who also serves as chairman of the Embedded Linux Consortium (ELC), will discuss the impending world domination of embedded Linux® as the technology continues to explode into the embedded applications universe. With Linux making inroads into a wide range of embedded devices and systems, from hand-held consumer devices to large defense programs, Dr. Singh will comment on the growing opportunities in the embedded industry as Linux emerges as the only true open-standard, multi-vendor platform for embedded applications.

Dr. Singh will examine the factors behind Linux's emergence and elaborate on his vision for the future of Linux, including the challenges in applying Linux to embedded applications, the impact of the Linux 2.6 kernel, and key embedded Linux trends. Dr. Singh will also look at the role of Linux as a unifying force in the fragmented embedded industry, the growing ecosystem around Linux, and emerging issues like reliability and security.

LinuxAsia 2004
LinuxAsia 2004 will provide a forum for developers, IT entrepreneurs and the open-source community to discuss the numerous advantages of Linux technology. The three-day event will take place in New Delhi, India, from February 11-13, 2004 at the India Habitat Centre.
