CADvision to Distribute Synchronicity's Software in France

2/5/2004 - Synchronicity, Inc has signed CADvision to distribute their design reuse, collaboration and management software in France. CADvision sells and supports a variety of EDA and CAD products for ASIC, FPGA and PCB design, and they will now also provide local sales, support and training for Synchronicity's software.

In France Synchronicity already has considerable success with large customers such Alcatel, Philips and STMicroelectroncis but CADvision brings the neccesary expertise and contacts to further penetrate the French market. Initially, the focus will be on CADvision's established French customer base and users of the Cadence Virtuoso design platform, but soon after CADvision will help extend Synchronicity to cover PCB developement. CADvision has many significant customers in France, such as EADS, General Electric, Alstom, Alcatel, Renault, GIAT, and many other medium-size accounts.

"CADvision has been successful representing Aldec, Zuken, Icinergy and Prover so they have the knowledge and acquaintances to be effective selling our software" said Fabrice Mekersi, Synchronicity's Southern Europe Manager. "France is strong in the development of electronic products and we are pleased to get the assistance of such a proven reseller."

"Synchronicity is raising the productivity of the entire design chains at companies with large French engineering operations like ST, Philips and Alcatel." added Julien Markarian, CADvision Managing Director.
