Tridium Enables M2M Communications with Niagara Appliance Program
2/2/2004 - Tridium Inc., a leading provider of device integration and Internet-based control applications, announced the introduction of the Niagara ApplianceTM program. The Niagara Appliance program is designed to support equipment manufacturers who wish to enable communications to their devices and offer integration with other building systems. The M2M (Man-to-Machine/ Machine-to-Machine) capabilities provided via Niagara Appliance enable remote diagnostics and troubleshooting of equipment, and provide a more efficient means of operating and maintaining equipment systems.
The Niagara Appliance program bundles hardware, software, and professional services, to deliver a turnkey product solution to the manufacturer. By leveraging the Niagara Appliance program, manufacturers can quickly web-enable their equipment, making it compatible with major building system standards.
