12/13/2004 - Intoto, a leading provider of integrated security, wireless and voice software platforms to networking equipment manufacturers, announced the appointment of Gary Wang, vice president of the Joint Venture Company (JVCO) Technology with 3Com Corporation (Nasdaq: COMS) to its board of directors. As one of the architects behind 3Comís mobile communications division, Wang brings to Intoto a deep, first hand understanding of the requirements and challenges faced by Intotoís customer base of networking and communications Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).

Wang has worked for 3Com for 17 years and brings extensive, broad-based wireless communications experience to the Intoto board. In his active role as vice president of the JVCO Technology, he is responsible for the technologies from the Huawei/3Com joint venture. Since 1987, he has held many senior management positions in manufacturing, engineering, and operations. In 1993, Wang created the Mobile Product Division (MPD), a business division focused on mobile communication solutions. From 2000 to 2002, Wang served as vice president and general manager of the Personal System Business Unit (PSB).
Wang currently serves on the board of directors of the Global Monte Jade Association, the Chiao-Tung NC Alumni Association, and the Mahabodhi USA Association. He is also the chairman of the Global Monte Jade Association, the chairman of the Mahabodhi USA Association, and the chairman of the Chiao-Tung NC Alumni Association. He holds a masterís degree in electrical engineering from Arizona State University and a bachelorís degree in telecommunication engineering from Chiao-Tung University, Taiwan. Wang is also an alumnus of Stanford University through the executive program of Graduate School of Business.
