11/23/2004 - ISPro Inc. is pleased to announce the launch of its 4U entry server chassis "RAK-405M". RAK-405M is an ideal platform for building ATX based servers or passive backplane based workstations. RAK-405M optimized server case accepts standard and readily available server components like ATX motherboards, 14 slots backplane, full/ half size SBCs etc. allowing for flexibility, easy maintenance and further extension.
Especially, the compact 14-slot chassis features an open architecture design that supports industry standard PICMG single board computers and full-length I/O cards. Several backplane options are available to fit the need of the automation application.
The chassis is made from heavy-duty galvanized iron sheet with rugged mechanical construction. The RAK-405M has an easily removable top cover for ease of configuration, installation, and maintenance of the SBC and add-in cards. The shock-resistant drive bracket, hold down clamp also provides enhanced protection to installed server components and HDDs from shocks and vibrations. A USB port, power on/off switch, hard drive activity and power on LED indicators complete the front panel. Power supply is optional for this chassis, please contact us for detail information.
