Accent's Foundry Services Deliver TSMC's Technologies to SensorDynamics

11/16/2004 - Accent has signed a long -term agreement with SensorDynamics AG to provide them with foundry services and access to TSMC's semiconductor technologies for engineering runs and volume production for its MEMS-based sensor devices. As a certified TSMC Design Center Alliance (DCA) partner, Accent is ideally placed, within the context of its Highway to Silicon programme, to assist companies wishing to utilise TSMC as the target foundry.

Accent's membership of TSMC's Design Center Alliance is integral to Highway to Silicon which has been structured to offer OEM and fabless small-to-medium sized enterprises (SMEs) a complete, one-stop shop for all aspects of complex IC design through to manufacturing and volume silicon delivery for customer owned tooling designs.

SensorDynamics focuses on the development and production of customer-specific, fail-safe MEMS-based application specific integrated sensors and intelligent sensor interfaces for high volume automotive and industrial applications.
