Cypress Hosts Dual-Port Memories as Interconnect Components Web Seminar

10/25/2004 - Cypress Semiconductor Corporation (NYSE:CY) announced that it will host a one-hour net seminar entitled “Dual-Port Memories as Interconnect Components.” The live seminar will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. PST.

Dual-port RAMs are an increasingly important piece of glue-ware in enterprise and even core switching/routing equipment. Due to its simple memory interface, lack of a complex protocol, and a wide variety of options, the dual-port buffer is one of the most popular chip-to-chip interconnects available today. This net seminar explores specific applications; explains the requirements and parameters of chip-to-chip interconnect; and highlights the benefits of using dual-port buffers to connect one processing element to another.
