Magma, Teseda Team for Seamless IC Implementation, Diagnostic, Test Flow

10/21/2004 - Magma® Design Automation Inc. (Nasdaq: LAVA), a provider of chip design solutions, and Teseda corporation announced they have validated the interface between Magma’s IC implementation system with built-in design for test (DFT) and Teseda’s OpenDFT WorkBenchTM software. This results in a seamless design, implementation, diagnostic and test flow. Leveraging the Magma and Teseda solution, design and test engineers can now address DFT, design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for yield (DFY) without translating and mapping data between environments. This reduces the chance of introducing errors, while at the same time increasing productivity and shortening time to silicon.
