10/18/2004 - Mindready Solutions Inc. (TSX: MNY), a leading supplier of innovative solutions for test and embedded systems serving high-growth vertical markets, announced a contract to design and supply a computer-controlled Traveling Wave Tubes (TWT) test system to a supplier of wireless telecommunication components.
TWT are high-powered microwave amplifiers used for the amplification of detection and communication signals. Mindready will deliver a 7Kv pulsed high voltage test system that is capable of testing, focusing and ageing TWTs, which also includes a computer-controlled power supply unit and data storage. In addition, this test station, which can be upgradeable to 14Kv in the future, features a complete personnel safety system ensuring operator safety at all times.
