TAK'ASIC Focuses on Consumer Imaging Solutions with New Executives

10/12/2004 - TAK'ASIC, a leading provider of dedicated imaging processors and solutions, announced two key management appointments to guide the company's next growth phase including an expanded focus in consumer imaging applications. The company named Christian Joly as its Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, and Robert Bylin as its Chief Financial Officer. Both are newly created positions.

In his new position, Joly has responsibility for the company's strategy and planning, product marketing, system applications and communications activities. A 17-year industry veteran with extensive international marketing and management experience, Joly joined TAK'ASIC from Intellon Corporation where he was a senior vice president. He formerly served as president and CEO of Coretex Corporation, a semiconductor design service company, and also held a number of senior management posts at LSI Logic (NYSE:LSI) including as director of the company's DVD and Imaging business units.

New TAK'ASIC CFO Robert Bylin brings more than 35 years of finance and operational experience in the technology industry to his position. During his career Bylin has held senior management posts in both established and emerging technology companies including DTI, Veridicom, and Storage Dimensions where he served as CFO during the company's successful IPO.
