10/12/2004 - U4EA Technologies, the premiere multi-service network embedded software provider, announced a collaboration with Analog Devices (ADI), a global leader in high-performance semiconductors for signal processing applications, to shorten the time-to-market for original equipment manufacturers (OEM) that develop triple-play network edge equipment -- voice, video and data. The collaboration has already produced a new reference design that will dramatically accelerate time-to-market and reduce the bill-of-materials cost for OEMs that provide multi-service network devices for access, edge and customer premises.
The reference design -- consisting of Analog Devices' Blackfin Fusiv Platform paired with U4EA's GoS embedded software -- serves as the foundation for products that enable service providers to maximize the number of SIP sessions and accurately predict quality of service (QoS) when they provision networks that integrate applications like IP videoconferencing, voice over IP and data.
