10/5/2004 - Advantech, the global ePlatform Service Provider, ranks among "2004 Taiwan Top 10 Global Brands." This ranking has special meaning for Advantech as it is one of the few companies that don’t focus on consumer markets, but on specific industries. The survey aims to encourage Taiwan-based companies to develop global brands and transform “Made in Taiwan” to “Branding in Taiwan” while competing in a fiercely competitive global market.

The “2004 Taiwan Top 10 Global Brands” survey was conducted by The China External Trade Development Council and Interbrand. Companies were evaluated in terms of leadership, geographic spread, stability, market appeal, trends (how well a brand stands up to competition and responds to trends), support (how well the brand is supported in its brand communication such as advertising) and protection (how well the brand is protected against trademark infringements).
