1/12/2004 - LynuxWorksTM Inc. announced that Secret Software has chosen BlueCat® Linux® to power its next-generation motion capture system. A developer of interactive three-dimensional (3D) action games, Secret Software has engineered the Gypsy motion capture system for the gaming and entertainment industries.
BlueCat Linux provided Secret Software with the flexibility of open-source software, leveraging the Linux model that is used in a wide range of development applications. BlueCat Linux enables Secret Software to improve productivity and protect and extend its Linux development investment by providing a simple path to migrate to real-time, deterministic performance.

Secret Software offers the latest in wireless, sourceless, distortion-free motion capture systems on the market. The Gypsy stand-alone software captures information on the skeletal motion of the human body and sends it to a computer allowing developers to render the information into a 3D graphic for gaming and entertainment.
