U.S. Navy Awards $19 Million SPAWAR Contract to Titan
1/8/2004 - The Titan Corporation (NYSE:TTN) announced that the U.S. Navy's Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) Systems Center, San Diego, has awarded the company an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (ID/IQ) five-year contract (three-year base period with two option years), having a potential value, with options if exercised, of $19,184,739. Under this award, Titan will provide military and commercial satellite systems engineering and test and evaluation support for U.S. Navy and Air Force systems.
