Varisys Launches 1.3GHz PowerPC PCI Card
9/30/2003 - Varisys has announced the VS145 as the latest addition to their family of PowerPC G4+ PCI and PMC cards.
Available with a MPC7457 PowerPC CPU running at up to 1.3GHz, Ethernet, PMC site, and host PCI interface the VS145 offers the ultimate I/O and processing solution for embedded applications such as RADAR, SONAR, medical imaging, industrial control and software development. Using an established core architecture the VS145 is an ideal building block for single or multi-processor systems.
Software development is supported with PowerPC Linux, a VxWorks BSP and a GNU toolset for "bare metal" C programming.
