9/24/2003 - Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) announced a program to trade in competitive and legacy logic analyzer products for a 10 to 15 percent discount on currently available Agilent products. This first-time program allows users of logic analysis test equipment to upgrade to current products at a significant reduction in cost.
"We've been looking at ways to help test engineers acquire current products offered in logic analysis, knowing that companies today are very conservative on spending," said Ron Nersesian, general manager of Agilent's Design Validation Division. "This program helps them reduce their overall investment yet achieve the test technology advancements necessary to stay competitive."
The trade-in program is for any competitive or legacy logic analyzer mainframe or module. It provides for 10 percent off the purchase price of any Agilent 168X or 169X Series standalone logic analyzer, or 15 percent off a 167XX modular system. Logic analysis modules are also included, at up to a 10 percent discount toward any new Agilent logic analysis module. The trade-in program currently has no expiration date and can be combined with other volume end-user agreements and educational discounts. For more information, visit www.agilent.com/find/trade-up.
