Sun Deploys Multiservice Television with All Day Conference

9/12/2003 - Sun Microsystems, Inc. will join with co-sponsors Alcatel, Artesia Technologies, DMDsecure, the Internet Streaming Media Alliance (ISMA), July Systems, Kasenna, Strategy & Technology, StorateTek and T Systems for an all day conference, "Deploying Multiservice Television" on Monday, 15 September 2003, at IBC2003 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

The conference will discuss the opportunity of "media everywhere" - delivering compelling TV experiences over multiple networks to multiple devices. It will provide the latest insights and specifics on how open standards and technologies like MHP and OCAP, DRM, MPEG-4, open content storage and digital asset management are enabling companies to produce, manage and deliver TV services over multiple networks. In addition to attending the conference, attendees can view product demonstrations and meet with knowledge experts from Sun and its co-sponsors.

The conference will take place on Monday, September 15, from 9:30 to 17:30 in the RAI Exhibition and Congress Centre, Room B.
