9/10/2003 - The Titan Corporation (NYSE: TTN) announced that the Air Force Information Warfare Center (AFIWC) has awarded the company a five-year indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract having a potential value of $252 million to provide offensive and defensive information warfare engineering services to support operations, acquisition and testing for the Center, headquartered at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. Under this multiple-awarded, task order-based contract, Titan will compete against five other companies for task orders against the contractís potential ceiling.

"The Titan team has been a prime on this contract since its inception five years ago. To repeat as prime demonstrates AFIWCís recognition of Titanís unique technical and operational capabilities to support the Air Force Information Warfare Center well into the future."
Under the contract, Titan will provide engineering and technical information warfare support to the AFIWC, as well as other Air Force, Department of Defense, and governmental agencies. This effort will include systems planning, feasibility studies, system engineering, analysis, prototyping, software development, verification, validation, documentation, software maintenance, systems integration, and systems testing.
